Alright guys, I would REALLY love to go Anthrocon. Ive never been to any sort of convention and Im dying to go. A lot of artists I know are going. I had at first thought it would be in Philly which is fairly close to my house. So it was no problem. But I recently found out its in Pittsburg which is on the other side of PA. The plane ticket will cost me $162, membership is $40, plus the hotel, food, and taxi expenses. Now since I will be working during the summer, you'd think Id have enough money right? Well I have $650 bill that needs to be paid asap and I have to start paying my own way in college starting in september. The dorm cost will most likely be around $4000 per semester which means I'll need around $8000 by September. I simply cant afford to go to Anthrocon. (I only have $100 in the bank so clearly I need some help.) But I TERRIBLY want to go. I feel like I will be missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime. Sure they have it every year but I dont know how often my friends will be going. Things can change in an instant. So I ask for help by taking commissions.
